Missy Elliott is a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer from Portsmouth, Virginia. Also known as “Misdemeanor,” the four-time Grammy winner got her start as a member of the ’90s girl group Sista before going solo with the 1997 release of her acclaimed debut album, Supa Dupa Fly. Further projects in her discography include Da Real World (1999), Miss E… So Addictive (2001), Under Construction (2002), This Is Not a Test! (2003), The Cookbook (2005) and the 2019 EP Iconology.
