11 to Midnight
Dancing duo Cost n’ Mayor bring their viral choreography to the New York stage in their new Off-Broadway show 11 to Midnight. The dance-theater extravaganza began performances at the Orpheum Theatre in the East Village on January 28 for a limited run of just 12 weeks through April 19. Along with Austin and Marideth Telenko, the show will feature dancers Brendon Chan, Makenzie Olsen, Ache Richardson, Kati Simon, Tyson Hill, Kristalyn Gill and Jake Urban.

Stranger Things: The First Shadow
Still riding the high off the Stranger Things finale? Take a mind-blowing trip to the Upside Down in the prequel to Netflix’s Stranger Things, when a mysterious student named Henry Creel first disrupts the lives of a teenaged Jim Hopper, Joyce Byers and Bob Newby in Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things: The First Shadow was officially the most-nominated play of the season, adding five Tony nominations to its host of other nods at the Drama Desk Awards, Outer Critics Circle Awards and Drama League Awards.

Chicago
Fresh off her stint on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, Whitney Leavitt will be making her Broadway debut in Chicago. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives firebrand will step into the well-heeled shoes of Roxie Hart from February 2 to March 15, 2026. The name on everybody’s lips is “Whitney” as fans eagerly await Leavitt’s big moment in the spotlight — but only time will tell who’s more dangerous for the reality TV villain: The merry murderesses of the Cook County Jail or MomTok?

Shows Closing on Broadway in February 2026 (Last Call)
Liberation
Liberation is officially slated to take its final bow on February 1 at the James Earl Jones Theatre. It’s your last chance to see Tony nominee Bess Wohl’s touching memory play, which shifts between the stories of a feminist group in 1970s Ohio and the daughter of the collective’s founder on a journey to make sense of her mother’s life decades later.

Mamma Mia!
It’s also the last call for Mamma Mia!, whose return to the Winter Garden Theatre caps off the touring production’s run on February 1. Filled with timeless hits like “Dancing Queen,” “Super Trouper” and the famous title track, the jukebox musical brings ABBA’s songbook to life for fans of all ages, including CHESS star Aaron Tveit, who revealed his favorite song by the Swedish pop pioneers in his recent interview with Ticketmaster.

Oedipus
After making its way across the Atlantic from London’s West End, Oedipus will take its final bow on February 8 at Studio 54. The latest remake of an ancient text from playwright and director Robert Icke turns the story of Oedipus Rex by Sophocles into a modern political thriller starring Mark Strong and Lesley Manville.

Marjorie Prime
June Squibb’s starring turn as the titular character in Marjorie Prime will come to an end on February 15, following the sci-fi family drama’s limited run at the Hayes Theater. Alongside the Oscar nominee, the star-studded cast includes Tony Award winners Cynthia Nixon and Danny Burstein as well as Christopher Lowell in his Broadway debut.

Hell’s Kitchen
After nearly two years, Hell’s Kitchen will end its smash Broadway run on February 22 — though you can still catch the show on tour across the country. Alicia Keys’ jukebox musical first took the Shubert Theatre by storm in April 2024, eventually earning 13 Tony nominations and taking home acting wins for original stars Maleah Joi Moon and Kecia Lewis. For its final run of shows, the musical will welcome back Brandon Victor Dixon in his Tony-nominated role as Davis.
