What are the FC Dallas Supporter Clubs Called?
FC Dallas is the Major League Soccer franchise based in Dallas, Texas. The club was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn, which lasted until 2004. The club became FC Dallas in 2005 and has multiple supporter clubs, including El Matador, Dallas Beer Guardians and La Murga 117. FC Dallas’ supporters are known for their tailgating, raucous support and loud chants. The supporter clubs sit in the section known as The Rhine, named after former FC Dallas player Bobby Rhine, who died in 2011 at 35.
El Matador
Who Is El Matador?
El Matador is one of the oldest supporter groups of FC Dallas. It is a bilingual supporters group rooted in Latin American culture that chants in both Spanish and English. Known for their musical instruments, especially the El Matador drums that lead the way during the walk to the stadium and in the game, El Matador welcomes all who want to join.
Where Do El Matador Sit?
El Matador stand in Sections 112 and 113 in the Budweiser Beer Garden at the north end of Toyota Stadium, the home of FC Dallas. The group tailgates in the southwest portion of the Corolla Red parking lot and meets up two hours before each home match.

How Do El Matador Members Show Team Pride?
El Matador encourages its members to play instruments during matches. El Matador asks that members “bring your voice plus two arms to wave a flag or play an instrument,” according to the FC Dallas website. The official logo for El Matador is a bull in front of a black and red checkered background in the shape of the state of Texas. El Matador has an online shop with apparel that includes hats, shirts, and stickers, all featuring their logo. Events to watch away matches are hosted at different bars around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. El Matardor also has their own chants, including “Soy de Dallas,” “Para Ser Campeon.”
How to Join El Matador
There is no membership fee to join El Matador. You must fill out a form on the group’s website. One of the questions asked is whether or not you play an instrument. You can also follow El Matador on X, Instagram, and Facebook.
Dallas Beer Guardians
Who Are The Dallas Beer Guardians?
The Dallas Beer Guardians are a supporters group for FC Dallas that is known by the motto “Sanguinem Sudorem et Cervisiae,” which translated from Latin means “Blood, Sweat, and Beers.” Founded in 2011 as FCDrunk, the Dallas Beer Guardians have more than 1,000 members and are focused on standing for the full 90 minutes of a match and producing one of the most well-respected tailgating experiences in the entire MLS. They are DTID (Dallas ‘til I Die).
Where Do The Dallas Beer Guardians Sit?
The Dallas Beer Guardians stand in Sections 112 and 113 in the Budweiser Beer Garden. You can find their tailgate in the Corolla Red Lot close to the west gate.

How Do The Dallas Beer Guardians Members Show Team Pride?
The Dallas Beer Guardians produce tifo displays during each match. They also have their own chant, “Drunk and Disorderly,” which goes:
“We drink, we drink,
Wherever we may be,
Cause we are the drunk and disorderly!
And we will drink wherever we may be,
‘Cause we are the famous D-B-G!”
Members can customize their own DBG jerseys. The DBG logo has the block letters DBG with a flame inside the D.
How to Join The Dallas Beer Guardians
There are multiple levels of membership to choose from. The free membership includes full DBG Discord server access, limited access to the DBG chant app, access to the DBG ticket exchange, priority access to away matches when made available and access to exclusive member events. The Card membership costs $10 and gives you a DBG Membership card, full access to the chant app, a sticker pack, voting rights for the DBG Board of Directors Elections and partner discounts with the Full 90 members.
The Full 90 membership costs $65 and with it comes a 2024 DBG jersey, a membership card, a sticker pack and everything available in the Card and free memberships. The Dual-pack Full 90 membership costs $120 and gives you both of the 2024 DBG jerseys and everything in the Full 90, Card and free memberships.
